Ranger Road Motors is an adaptive motor sports group that puts Veterans and first responders of all abilities on, in or around motor vehicles to compete or just have fun. We enjoy growing a race family that supports each member on and off the track. To join us sign up here.
Jay is our token Canadian Veteran, serving six years as an 00369 then moving to the private sector as a contractor. Jay was inspired by the energy of the veterans who were injured and saw a place for himself within the organization. He felt he could contribute and bring some smiles to more faces. As a Co-Founder of the Ranger Road Motors program, Jay coordinates with racing organizations and helps with vehicle construction. Jay also works in the social investment/multi-family and property development business. His job is to provide socially responsible investment opportunities in the residential real estate industry. He and his team grew his last company to just under $1B in real estate assets. He uses that experience now as an Advisory Board Member to secure the funding that allows our programs to continue running. Jay became a professional Snowboarder at the age of 14 and got sober at the age of 24, but in almost 50 years has not yet figured out how to teleport. Instead he devotes the rest of his energy to his beautiful wife and two children.
Jeff was first introduced to Ranger Road by co-PM Jay St. Claire. While attending a Freedom Jump event, they came up with the idea of building a racecar for veterans and got right to it; and thus, Ranger Road Motors was born. For Jeff, managing the Motors program was more than just spending time with the incredible people he met-- he saw it as an opportunity to teach his two sons about volunteering and being of service. Jeff considers being a good husband, father, friend, boss, and overall Dude some of his proudest accomplishments, right along with being married to his wife for 25 years and being drug and alcohol free for 30 years.
