Our Mission
This program is designed to get the veteran(s) back in the water. This course is open to all Veterans with or without disabilities. Students will need to have their own Mask, Snorkel, booties, and fins for the course. Students will also need to purchase their student open water book kit. Ranger Road will provide the rest of the dive gear needed, if a veteran has financial issues and cannot get their own snorkel gear or books, then RR will be able to step in and assist. To sign up here.
Program Manager
Josh Hotaling
Joshua Hotaling started diving in 2012 as part of therapy while stationed at Balboa Hospital. Joshua is now Ranger Road's lead instructor and enjoys teaching other veterans how to dive and hopefully get the same enjoyment out of it. Josh's favorite type of diving is cave diving and diving rebreathers. As veterans progress in their dive training, Joshua hopes to teach those who have the desire to progress into more technical and challenging scuba courses.
